Questions To Ask

• Is my child covered under my health insurance? Under what conditions?
• Are there certain network-affiliated doctors or health care providers my child should use that are close to his/her school? What is the coverage for out-of-network providers? Do they need a referral from a primary care doctor to use them?
• What is considered “full-time” for my student? Is there provision for temporary reduced semester hours?
• What health care services does the college or university provide?
• Is there a student health insurance policy offered through the school?
