Life insurance is complicated! Who can help me?

Most people do not love buying life insurance. Have you ever heard someone say, “Guess what? I’m so excited – this weekend, my wife and I are going to BUY LIFE INSURANCE. Woooo!”

The #1 reason why buying life insurance is not a popular pastime? It’s complicated. It’s difficult. It’s hard to get “plain English” explanations for what it’s all about. It’s hard to know if you’re getting a good deal and it’s hard to understand the different options and benefits and price points from all the various life insurance companies.

One way to measure “smartness” is by I.Q. Most of us have taken an IQ test at some point in our lives, be it in school or for fun. IQ, or rather, Intelligence Quotient tests are conducted to assess a person’s intelligence. When you think about it though, these tests are not unlike applications for Life Insurance Quotes.

Can a term life insurance policy be cashed in?

Here at MyInsuranceExpert.com we get a lot of questions from customers who are trying to decide how to choose the right life insurance policy for them. One of the questions we hear fairly often is: “Can a term life insurance policy be cashed in?”

The short answer is No. You may like the long answer better, but put simply, term life insurance does not have a cash value, and so it cannot be “cashed in.”

Buying life insurance like Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett is one of the world’s greatest investors, and he has a quote about his philosophy of buying investments: “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”

This means that a low-priced stock is not always the best value – and a high-priced stock might still have a lot of room to grow.
