“Easy to work with” was recently cited by eMarketer.com as the #1 most valued trait of insurance providers according to U.S. consumers. Our CFO, Mike Zultowski, provided some color to the company on what “easy to work with” means…

Easy: Order a meal at Taco Bell or McDonalds. Look at a picture of the meal and tell the server “#1.”

Not Easy: Try ordering a hamburger at Bagger Dave’s for the first time, or sushi for that matter. You need a pencil and paper to order and the number of possible meal combinations is in the tens of thousands – not eight like McDonalds.

Sure, I know at Bagger Dave’s French fries appear on the order worksheet in multiple locations because it can be both a side and/or a topping. But as a customer, I’m not here to tell you on a sheet of paper what ingredients to make my burger with… you’re the restaurant, you’re in the business of making good food from your own secret recipe. Give it a kickass name that’s going to make me want to eat it – like the “5 Alarm Burger” at Red Robin. I say, “I’ll have the 5 Alarm and a tall beer.” Instead, the waitress at Bagger Dave’s starts with, “Have you eaten here before?” Translation: We have ground beef and 500 toppings in the back, what do you want?
