Steve was born and raised in Michigan. He attended Michigan State University and graduated from their Eli Broad College of Business program where he received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting. While attending there he participated on the wrestling team and played hockey on their club team.

Steve has hobbies that include playing hockey and golfing during the summer. His biggest interest includes following the stock market and most importantly being a role model and good parent to his son.
